Art of the Athlete Exhibition

This unique event is a concept I curated in association with the Ron Pickering foundation and the Lloyd Cowan bursary to showcase and celebrate talented athletes and their artistic abilities. Former and current professional athletes from a variety of different sports exhibited their work with a proportion of the sales going to the associated charities to help support homegrown talent and give those artistic athletes an opportunity for a career in the arts.

The Nuovo Lavi festival celebrates the irrevocable link between visual and performance arts with the works of Gavin Johnson as the narrative to the stunning and emotive contemporary dance performances of Deliah Seefluth and James Sydney Robinson. This unique two piece performance explores the symbiotic nature between body and consciousness as the physical and is influenced by the minds emotional turmoil and the concept of abundance mindset through emotional awareness.
